Eintracht Frankfurt

Last season the Eagles took 7th position with the great and confident game. Unfortunately, they failed to win in 6 last games of Bundesliga, due to an intense schedule. Both teams were very equal by the game and abilities. That is the main reason why they took only 7th place in Germany. Eintracht Frankfurt made many changes in the squad as two of the main attack leaders left the club to Real Madrid and West Ham. In general, they brought about 10 new players for about 60m € and sold two for 100m €. Most of the new arrivals are young, very prospective and potentially strong players with a bright future like Luka Jovic. All in all, Eintracht plays very creative football and showing great result almost in all positions. This summer, they brought Kevin Trapp from Paris SG to strengthen goalkeepers position. Moreover, they signed talented players from Hamburger, Benfica, Red Star and Borussia Dortmund. This should be very exciting to watch, how new players will show their abilities in the nearest games.

Hoffenheim

After two great season in 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons with 4th and 3rd place they obviously failed last season, as finished it at 9th position. In general, they showed a strong attacking game whitout any big problems in the defense. Their biggest problem were draws, as they played 12 draws, more than any other club in Bundesliga. Moreover, they played in Champions League groups stage with Manchester City, Lyon and Shakhtar Donets, but failed to win all games. They took the last place and lost the chance to play in the Europa League.

Hoffenheim also sold their leaders, as Joelinton joined Newcastle for 44m €, Kerem Demirbay for 32m € and Niko Schulz to Borussia Dortmund for 25m €. Most interesting, that they doest brought any strong leaders to their club, as only several players arrived. Still, they have many strong and talented player who are ready to face even the strongest opponents and give a fight.

Unfortunately, Andrej Kramaric, Leonardo Bittencourt and Sargis Adamyan will miss the game due to injury. Moreover, Christopher Baumgartner is suspended for 1 game in Bundesliga, so he also will watch the game from the stadium stands.
