Manchester United vs Chelsea – 11/08/2019 Preview

The Red Devils took 6th place last year in Premier League. They had a lot of changes in staff places as they sacked Jose Mourinho after failing the beginning of the season. Jose finished second in 2017/18 season, however, as always the disagreement with the players disturbed the harmony in the team. That was one of the reasons for poor results. In general, the team still can not find itself already for the past several seasons after the departure of Sir Alex Fergusen. They changed a lot of coaches, bought super players, but the team still uncompetitive in Premier League.

Now they definitely can play much faster football, start the attack from the defense with the very fast and strong right-wing. The team has a huge number of players with experience and talents. Unfortunately, Eric Bailly will miss the next game due to knee surgery until December. The head coach will start the first season from the very beginning. Obviously, new tactics and adjustments in the main squad are surely introduced. Throughout the offseason, the team won all friendly games.

Chelsea

The arrival of Frank Lampard to Chelsea can be called a new era of the club. Since the team cannot buy players now, Frank has no other choice than to play with those that are. A large number of young and talented players are waiting in a pile to show what they are capable of. Lampard can open their potential to 100%. Then he was a manager of Derby County, he coached a very young team and almost reached the Premier League. But I think that even if Frank fails to achieve heights this season, everyone will forgive him because with limited capabilities and high expectations, it is now very difficult to cope in a very competitive Premier League.

A very strange thing was to let the experienced Garry Cahill go to Crystal Palace for free. David Luiz left alone with great knowledge as a center back, all the rest will be very young. During the winter transfer window, Chelsea took advantage of buying Cristian Pulisic, who already strongly changed departured Eden Hazard.
