The first semi-final of the tournament and what an exciting game is waiting for us tomorrow. One of the all-time greats meets young star in the making who is playing incredibly well at the start of the season. Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Rafael Nadal played against each other last week in Madrid. There Tsitsipas managed to take the win out of Nadal’s hands and beat him in 3 sets. Rafa will definitely want revenge for the last game. But Tsitsipas is not the guy who backs down as we know quite well. Let us share our thoughts on this ATP game below.

Stefanos Tsitsipas

Tsitsipas has won 11 out of his last 12 games on clay this season and is having an incredible season so far. He hasn’t got far at this tournament last year as he’s lost vs Del Potro at the second round while Nadal won the tournament. Greek is still very young but he is playing solid tennis. He is a real fighter who gives his all to every point without losing his head like some other young players. Tsitsipas is a star in the making and he’s proven that by beating Nadal last week and will definitely give us a good show tomorrow.

Rafael Nadal

Rafa has been inconsistent lately as he can look great in one game and suddenly starts struggling in the second one where nobody would expect him to have any problems. Of course, he is the best clay we have today if he’s 100% healthy. Rafael is ready for the game but that is questionable for tomorrow’s game knowing that it will be the 4th game in 3 days. Nadal is defending his champion title here. He will be motivated to give his best for sure. Let’s hope he will be able to do it given the circumstances.

H2H

Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Rafael Nadal played 4 times. Rafael won 3 of them and lost the last one in Madrid the week before.
