Reilly is one of the youngest players at Wimbledon as he’s only 21 years old but has been climbing the rankings and currently sits at 63rd. Opelka is 211 cm tall and his results are mostly dependent on how well the serve is working on that day. On a good day, which happened against Wawrinka, Opelka has made 23 aces and won 72% of points while making the 1st serve. American doesn’t have a lot of experience on grass and this might lead to some issues tomorrow against such an experienced player like Raonic but the one thing Opelka doesn’t lack is the courage and fighting for every point. He’s improved his game on the grass a lot since past few seasons overall has looked great this season so far as well.
The one concern for Opelka tomorrow is his inability to perform against similar style players as he’s lost against Del Potro, Medvedev and Johnson this season.
28 years old Raonic once were one of the brightest young stars in the making but injuries had a big impact for him as he is not at the Top10 anymore. Of course, he is still a great player but he is not that consistent anymore and it’s hard to predict if he will be able to play the full match if it goes the distance or not. Raonic plays at a very similar style as Opelka does by relying on serving ability a lot and only being average at rallies. Raonic has played well on grass this season so far but again, after reaching semi-final at Stuttgart he had to withdraw due to health issues. Here at Wimbledon, he had no problems at defeating Gunneswaran and Haase in straight sets and is entering tomorrow’s match as a favorite.
