The second round of qualification at the biggest tournament on grass, Wimbledon. There we have 2 of the better players at this qualification facing off against each other. To have more insights on this ATP Quentin Halys vs Bjorn Fratangelo match please check out the preview below.
Quentin Halys
Quentin is 160th ranked 22 years old from France. He’s good a good serve and great all-around game. His main weakness is his inconsistency as he might win one set by a huge margin but give away the second one just like the same. He is still a young player and that’s might be one of the reasons for it but he definitely has the potential to climb into Top100 in this season. He’s mostly playing on clay and hard grounds but his best results are on hard as he’s won over 60% of matches on this ground. Halys hasn’t got a good and long history on grass as this will be an only 14th match played on this ground and we’ve got to see if he’s good something to surprise us with.
Bjorn Fratangelo
135th ranked 25-year-old American is one of the favorites to reach the main draw of Wimbledon. Fratangelo hasn’t played a lot this season so far due to his personal reasons and some injuries as well. Differently, from Halys, Bjorn doesn’t have such dominant serving ability and relies on other abilities such as playing aggressive and attacking rallies. He’s not that capable of holding his own serve but is definitely better at breaking opponents than Halys is. Fratangelo is also more experienced on the grass where he’s played 33 matches and won 19 of them. American had no problems in the first round of qualification where he defeated Vatutin in straight sets.
