The first round of an ATP 250 tournament in Eastbourne, United Kingdom. There we have an interesting match between two absolutely different style players matching up against each other. To have more insights on this ATP Nicolas Jarry vs Pablo Cuevas match please check out the preview below.

Nicolas Jarry

23 years old 55th ranked Chilian had some great matches this season but got into a losing streak by losing to Mahut at the first round of Queen’s Club. Jarry is tall, 198 cm and can play some good all-around tennis. Strong forehand, great serving ability and good coordination on the court are the main things he’s got in his game. He’s still young and improving with each season but hasn’t got a lot of experience on grass. Jarry’s played only 15 matches on this ground and managed to win 6 of them. We haven’t seen him improved his grass game in the first 2 matches he’s played but has to expect him playing better than he did previously knowing the caliber of a player that he is.

Pablo Cuevas

44th ranked 33 years old Uruguayan is one of the best players on clay we have today and that’s the main thing concerning for tomorrow’s match. Cuevas is great on clay because he loves longer rallies and slower games. This kind of style doesn’t fit such fast ground as the grass is compared to clay. That’s one of the main reasons Cuevas hasn’t been performing on grass as well as he is on clay and unless he’s improved his game on this ground he might face a really early exit here as well. He’s got nearly 50% win rate on grass throughout his career but has played only 17 matches. Got to see what Cuevas has prepared at his first tournament on grass this year.
