Jarry is coming to this tournament in a great form as he were on a 4 games win streak before losing to A. Zverev in the final match in Geneva. He had all the chances in the world to win that final but were unlucky at some moments and Zverev picked up his opportunities and went out victorious. Anyway, it was a great tournament for Jarry as he showed us what he is really capable of. Nicolas is a versatile player who can do a lot of different things on the floor. While he is almost 2 meters tall he has a great movement on the court, beautiful serve and pretty good all around game-style overall. If he keeps up the pace that he showed recently this match might be a really close one.
Juan Martin Del Potro
Del Potro have finally shown some signs of life after coming back from the injury which took such a long time to recover from. Argentinian looked back in form in Rome as he beat Goffin and Ruud quite comfortably in straight sets and only fell short to Djokovic. It was a close game between him and Djoko as Del Potro were in the lead after 1st set and this match had a lot of positive sights in Juan’s game. Of course, the biggest question in this tournament will be Del Potro’s physical abilities as every match takes a lot of time and energy. If Del Potro manages to win at early stages comfortably he might go far in this tournament but first, we will have to see him against Jarry tomorrow.
