The first round of an ATP 250 tournament in Antalya, Turkey. There we have an exciting match waiting for us as Australian Matthew Ebden will face off against Bosnian Damir Dzumhur. To have more insights on this ATP Matthew Ebden vs Damir Dzumhur match please check out the preview below.

Matthew Ebden

80th ranked 31 years old Australian hasn’t played a lot this season so far. He had some minor injuries and hasn’t looked like himself these past few months. Even though Ebden is only an average player on hard and clay he’s always been more than average on the grass and it’s definitely his best ground. He’s had over 66% win rate on this ground in last 4 seasons and that’s a great result. Ebden was struggling so far but still should recover on his favorite ground and start winning some games. Expect him to come back at this tournament and get some confidence back after the really sluggish start of the season.

Damir Dzumhur

62nd ranked 27 years old Bosnian is rarely playing on grass. He’s only played 18 matches on this ground throughout his career and managed to win half of them. Of course, his favorite ground is clay where he’s played most of his career matches but Dzumhur can be threatening to play against anyone on any ground. Damir isn’t consistent and can lose one set 6-0 and win the second one by the same margin. He’s proven a lot of times that he is capable of playing any ground and we’ll have to see what he has to show us at grass this year entering the first tournament on grass in 2019.
