This should be an exciting game to watch and to have more insights on this ATP Matteo Berrettini vs Karen Khachanov match please check out the preview below.
Matteo Berrettini
Matteo Berrettini is playing surprisingly well and he’s climbing the rankings quite fast given that he’s still only 23 years of age. Berrettini had no problems defeating Nick Kyrgios in the opening round. Tomorrow’s opponent for Berrettini has a similar play style to Kyrgios but is definitely a better version of an Australian so the game will be much harder for Berrettini. Of course, Matteo is a good all-around player but as was mentioned he is only 23 years old and has played only 9 official matches on grass throughout his whole career. The lack of experience might really be a factor in tomorrows game for the Italian.
Karen Khachanov
Russian is 23 years old just like his tomorrows opponent but is already a top10 ranked player in the world. Karen has everything to be a top3 or even climb up to No. 1 one day but everything comes step by step. Khachanovs steps are huge ones really. He’s improved his all-around game by adding some strength to his forehand and backhand, he is also better in long rallies now than he used to. Consistency is still the main thing he needs to improve on. Khachanov has played more games on grass compared to Berrettini and has an experience advantage for tomorrows match. Even though it will be only his first match on grass this season.
