To have more insights on this ATP Cameron Norrie vs Kevin Anderson match please check out the preview below.
Cameron Norrie
Cameron is a 23 years old player from Great Britain. He hasn’t found his footing at the start of the season as he wasn’t enjoying playing on clay at all. Cameron is one of these players who love playing on hard ground and struggles on any other. His records on different grounds make it very clear. Almost 63% win rate on hard compared to nearly 50% on other grounds combined. Norrie has a bad record on grass as he’s won only 6 matches out of 20 throughout his career and this tournament will be his first one in this year. We have to see if Norrie improved on this ground otherwise this will be an early 1st round exit for him.
Kevin Anderson
Anderson is a 33 years old Top10 ranked player who was one of the most dominant players last year. He had some incredible runs and caused a lot of headaches for the best ones including Federer, Nadal, Del Potro, Thiem and so on. This season was not that good for him as he suffered some injuries and had a lot of time off only playing 14 matches this season. Seems like he is finally ready to play and it will be very interesting to see him on the court again. Anderson has a good career record on grass winning over 60% of matches played and if he shows at least something that is expected from him he might add some wins to his record at this tournament.
