On the 18th of May, the event will mark the UFC‘s first visit to Rochester, New York. In the main event of the evening former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos (28-11) will meet former interim lightweight title challenger Kevin “The Motown Phenom” Lee (17-4). This fight will take place at the Blue Cross Arena. Both fighters are former lightweights. Lee is moving up to 170 pounds (welterweight) for the first time in his career.

This will be a second fight in the welterweight division for former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos. He is coming off a loss to current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. Dos Anjos is now #8 in UFC welterweight division rankings, so he is definitely will try to fight his way to a title shot. Former UFC lightweight champion is a dangerous, good coached fighter. He is a powerful, fearsome striker. Also Brazilian is a good grappler, has a third degree BJJ black belt. His condition is incredible. He is always ready to fight all 25 minutes.

 

Kevin “The Motown Phenom” Lee

Kevin Lee all his UFC career fought in the lightweight division. Back at UFC 216, he challenged Tony Ferguson in a fight for the UFC interim lightweight title. Unfortunately “The Motown Phenom” lost. Since then, he had an impressive TKO win against Edson Barboza but lost again against Al Iaquinta by heartbreaking decision. Now Lee is moving up to 170 pounds and will face a very dangerous opponent in his debut. Kevin Lee has a great submission game. Almost half of his career wins he won by submission. Also, he is a solid striker and wrestler.
