On 18th of October UFC comes to Boston. In the main event of the evening #4 light heavyweight in UFC Light Heavyweight division, undefeated Dominick ‘The Devastator’ Reyes (11-0) will meet former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris ‘All-American’ Weidman (14-4). Chris Weidman is moving to light heavyweight and it will be his first fight there and against a very dangerous opponent.

Dominick ‘The Devastator’ Reyes

Dominick Reyes is coming off a win against former UFC Light Heavyweight title challenger Volkan Oezdemir back in March. Reyes is on an 11-fight winning streak and hasn’t lost in the octagon in his career. He is the real contender for a fight with Jon Jones for UFC Light Heavyweight title and wins over Chris Weidman should give Reyes this chance. ‘The Devastator’ is a young, hungry, very talented fighter. He is well-rounded – has a great striking and excellent ground game. If he wins this fight, we believe that he will have big chances to uncrown UFC Light Heavyweight division king – Jon Jones.

Chris ‘All-American’ Weidman

Former UFC Middleweight Champion is moving up to light heavyweight. Weidman hasn’t fought since November 2018 when he lost to Ronaldo Souza by TKO. Weidman lost 4 of his 5 last fights in the middleweight division. So maybe it was the right time to move up to different weight class. ‘All-American’ is a great wrestler, a real takedown machine. Also, his takedown defense is incredible. Weidman is a very smart and composed fighter. His striking is also great, American has real knockout power in his hands and elbows.
