On the 17th of August UFC is coming to California. It’s a rematch between current UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel ‘DC’ Cormier (22-1, 1NC) will defend his belt against former UFC Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic (18-3) at Honda Center. It was before almost a year when these fighters last fought. Then-champion Stipe Miocic was knocked out by Daniel Cormier in the first round. Since then, Stipe was obsessed with a rematch and finally, he got one.

Before almost a year then UFC Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier moved to the heavyweight to challenge then-champion Stipe Miocic. Daniel Cormier knocked out Miocic in the first round and became a two-division champion. Then he gave up his light heavyweight title and defended heavyweight title against Derrick Lewis. He won that fight by submission (rear-naked choke) in the 2nd round. ‘DC’ is a world class wrestler, a real monster in a clinch. He is a big, strong but also very quick and fast for a heavyweight. He has real power in his hands that showed his knockout against Stipe Miocic. This proved that Cormier can knock out everybody in the world. In his career, he just lost to a one-man – Jon Jones.

Since Stipe Miocic’s loss to current UFC Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, he was called the worst man of the planet. He was a true champion. Miocic defended his belt 3 times against very dangerous opponents – Alistair Overeem, Junior dos Santos, and Francis Ngannou. But then he met ‘DC’ and his run was over. But now he is definitely looking forward to reclaiming his title. Stipe Miocic is a great athlete, great striker, very quick for the heavyweight, has one-punch knockout power. Also throws a lot of combinations in a fight.
