On the 2nd of November, UFC comes back to New York. At the Madison Square Garden, #8 light heavyweight in UFC Light Heavyweight Division Corey ‘Overtime’ Anderson (13-4) will face rising light heavyweight star Johnny Walker (17-3).

Corey ‘Overtime’ Anderson

Corey Anderson is coming off 3 straight wins against Patrick Cummins, Glover Teixeira, and Ilir Latifi. Now he is on the 3-fight winning streak. Anderson was hoping to get a title shot and fight with UFC Light Heavyweight Division king – Jon Jones. But it all felt trough so he got another opponent – Johnny Walker, who will be a great challenge for ‘Overtime’ before he wants to fight with Jones. Anderson is solid striker, who gets better every day by the influence of coach Mark Henry. ‘Overtime’ is a quite good wrestler – he is definitely skilled at controlling and doing damage to opponents from the top position but he needs to improve his skills being on the back.

Johnny Walker

Johnny Walker is the new name which UFC fans should remember. Walker now is really on fire and the hype is real. Brazilian is coming off a spectacular flying knee knockout victory against Misha Cirkunov at UFC 235 back in March. After the win, Johnny Walker injured his shoulder by doing the ‘worm’ celebration. But now he received doctor’s clearance to fight so he is back. Johnny is on a 9-fight winning streak and in last 3 fights, he won a Performance of the Night. Also, his last two fights lasted only 51 seconds! It is really insane. But why Johnny Walker is so good? Brazilian is an amazing striker – he has a very large arsenal of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows. He is a very aggressive fighter. Also, Walker is good on the ground – has great ground and pound.
