A heavyweight bout between Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov was planned to headline this event but Volkov pulled out dua health issues, so he was replaced by Aleksei Oleinik.

Aleksei “The Boa Constrictor” Oleinik
Aleksei Oleinik last fought in September. Then he headlined UFC Moscow card in a fight against Mark Hunt. Oleinik won that fight by submission in the first round by rear-naked choke. 41 years old Ukrainian is 6-2 in the UFC octagon and all his wins coming by stoppage.
