On the 4th of May UFC comes back to Canada. In the main event of the evening #4 lightweight in the UFC lightweight division “Raging” Al Iaquinta (14-4-1) will face former UFC Lightweight Championship challenger Donald “ Cowboy” Cerrone (35-11, 1NC). This fight will take place at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada. Both fighters are always ready to fight and leave all heart in the octagon, so we believe it will be an awesome fight.
“Raging” Al Iaquinta
This will be a first Raging Al’s fight in Canada. Iaquinta has won six of his last seven fights. However, the only loss was against unbeaten former UFC lightweight champion of the world – Khabib Nurmagomedov. Back in April 2018, at UFC 223, Iaquinta lost to Khabib by decision. Then he had a decision win over Kevin Lee in December, however, Raging Al is hoping to get another title shot in the future. The New York native is a tough, fearless fighter. He is always ready to fight with anybody. Also, Iaquinta has good wrestling skills and solid striking arsenal.
Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone
We could talk all day about this unique fighter – Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. A future Hall Of Famer is coming off a spectacular armbar submission against Mike Perry in November and TKO win over Alexander Hernandez in January. Cerrone is a very active fighter. This would be his 3rd fight for 6 months. Donald Cerrone is an unbelievable fighter. He has most wins in the UFC history (22), also “Cowboy” has most finishes in UFC history (16). Now fighter is looking forward to getting another win in the record books. However, Cerrone is a world-class striker. He has killing leg kicks, incredible submission game. Moreover, “Cowboy” was never knocked out, he has a very strong chin. Moreover, he is very dangerous, experienced fighter.
