After losing the last game, Valencia should strongly prepare for the next game, especially playing at home against one of the most dangerous rivals in Spain. Will Sevilla be able to continue their winning streak to 3 wins in La Liga, or Valencia take advantage of home ground and collect 3 important points to their pocket? Read our thoughts about this interesting La Liga Valencia vs Sevilla game, here below.

Valencia

Albert Celades came to this club on the 11th of September, but still, the team can’t get back from the pit. They play very unstable football, which shows the results in La Liga and UEFA Champions League. At the moment they stand at 12th place with 13 points after 10 Rounds. This is far from the best of their results, and Albert should make everything to change this complicated situation. Los Ches started perfectly in Champions League taking important victory over the Chelsea. However, that was the one and only win so far in Europe. Valencia lost to Ajax and was one step behind taking 3 points against Lille in France but conceded a goal at 95th minute of the game and took only 1 point.

The Mates also facing big strugglings in Primeira Division, as they lost 3 important points playing against weaker Osasuna. Rodrygo was a most active player of the team in the first 30minutes, as he scored the opening goal at 14th minute and got a red card on the 29th. He made a very dangerous challenge and received a straight red card from the referee. Right after 5 minutes, Osasuna equalized the result and totally crushed Valencia in second-half scoring two more goals. For not careful play, you can’t blame anyone other than Rodrigo in this lost game. The team lost 1 player on the field, which affected the final result in such a difficult situation in the league. In the following games, players should play more carefully to avoid such mistakes.

Unfortunately, Cristian Puccini, Goncalo Guedes and Jasper Cillisen will miss the next game due to injuries. Moreover, Denis Cheryshev and Rodrygo will also stay out of the pitch due to yellow and red card suspensions.

Sevilla

This year brought lots of changes to their squad. They changed Head coach to Julen Lapetegui, brought many great new players and almost totally changed the first squad. At the moment, they are in a very good position in La Liga. Los Nervionenses collected already 19 points in 10 games and are only several points behind the leaders of the Standings. Unfortunately, Sevilla already lost to Barcelona and Real Madrid but showed strong character playing against strong Spanish teams. In general, they are one of the few favourites to fight for the top of the Primeira Division this year. At home, Los Palanganas won 3 games in a row and saved all 3 clean sheets. However, things in the road games going much tougher, as they lost 2 games in a row against Barcelona and Eibar.

In UEFA Europa League they showing the perfect path. They stand at 1st place with 9 points after 3 games so far. if honestly, then Sevilla was very lucky to get this kind of group because they are clear favourites playing against such teams like Qarabag, Dudelande, and APOEL. In 3 games, Sevilla scored 7 and saved clean sheets in all matches. They are aiming once again to take UEFA Europa League title, as they are very experienced especially in this tournament and have all the abilities to repeat their achievements.
