Mallorca made very hard work since the last season as they won the Promotion Playoffs overtaking Deportivo La Coruna in the Final. However, Mallorca made a great comeback taking 3:0 victory over the guests and promoted to long-waited Liga. They gained a strong character reputation and now fighting with the greatest Spanish clubs in La Liga.

Los Bermellones won the opening round, however, failed to succeed in two next game. They lost against Real Sociedad and Valencia even failing to score. Although they conceded two goals against Valencia at Estadio de Mestalla, they looked really strong and confident in the defence, despite 2 penalties. They also created several dangerous moments but were able to hit the target just once. La Liga newcomers play much more confidently at home ground, even losing against the Real Sociedad, they were one step away from a draw or even victory.

Els Barralets partly changed the main squad buying lots of players for a very small fee, or even on free transfers. In total, they spent 7m € during the summer transfer window. Unfortunately, Abdon Prats and Cucho Hernandez will miss next game due to injuries.

Athletic Bilbao

As we mentioned before, Athletic Bilbao is one of the most stable clubs in Spain. They growing their own stars and try to keep club traditions. This summer, Athletic finished without any transfer and spent money, just several players came back from loans. Athletic smashed the 1st round of La Liga with the unpredictable victory over Barcelona. Teams can only dream of such a beginning of the season because players gain confidence in themselves and in their game from the very beginning. In general, Los Leones collected already 7 points and going through the La Liga without loses.

This team is very well prepared and proves that not the expensive players decide the outcome of the match, but the teamwork. This season, especially after such a start, fans expect a lot from them. And we believe that the team can play better than in the last year. Unfortunately, Oscar de Marcos and Inigo Lekue will miss this game due to injuries.
