Juventus vs Chievo - 21/01/2019 Preview

Juventus will face Chievo at Allianz Stadium at Italian Serie A 20th Round. Juventus against Chievo is the match with big interest after their previous matches at Italian Serie A. Review our thoughts on this match here below.

Juventus

Juventus has finished the fight for Title of Serie A if they will continue playing as perfectly as they played first half of the season. Cristiano Ronaldo showing great football at the leading position of Juventus. This year La Vecchia Signora showing great results and lead by almost all statistics at the league. They are shooting mostly in average – 19.6 per match, almost perfect at pass accuracy – 86.8% and possession – 56% almost best result at the Serie A. A few days ago Juve has won Super Cup Final against AC Milan in a not productive and rather boring match. As a result, we see beautiful football, with fast counter-attacks, strong fight for the ball in the middle, side defenders playing well at connecting during the attacks and showing great results. Unfortunately, Juventus is facing an injury problem, and J. Cuadrado, A. Barzagli, M. Mandzukic, M. Benatia and M. Pajnic (with red cards suspension) will miss the match this time. However, C. Ronaldo will be at a starting line-up with P. Dybala and most likely with F. Bernadeschi.

Chievo

Chievo facing lots of problems this season and could be relegated to Serie B, as a result of bad and unconfident football. Of course, they don’t have stars at the club, but usually, a club like Chievo have a strong mentality and great teamwork. Chievo Verona has won against Frosinone in last Round, and that was the first win since last season in Serie A. They played times in draw and lost 10 matches already. Right now they have 8 point deficit between not relegating positions, so they have a lot of work to do this season.

H2H

Last three seasons team played 5 times, in every match Juventus played a lot better and won all of them. In every match, Juventus scored minimum twice and played very comfortable and confident football.
