Sweden vs Norway should be a very interesting and tough game of Euro2020 qualification between two neighbours in Scandinavia, which will be held at Friends Arena, in Stockholm. Most likely, only one of these teams will receive a second ticket to the main draw of the tournament and take the second place in the Group F. For now, group favourite Spain, have all wins and obviously will stay at the 1st place until the end of qualification. Sweden

FIFA Rating – 18

From the first view, these are two very similar teams with the same capabilities. But Sweden at this stage of its development looks much better with excellent players in the team. In UEFA Nations League Group B they overtook Russia and Turkey finishing at 1st place and qualifying to League A, where are the toughest European opponents. In Euro2020 qualification, they lost only to Spain playing at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Sweden national team stood strong during the first half, however, totally broke down in second one conceding 3 goals. In general, they had almost no chances to succeed as they finished with only one shot on goal and 31% of possession.

There are lots of experienced and talented players in the squad. Only 3 players joined the national team from Swedish Allsvenskan, what shows realy big choice from the better leagues and clubs. All in all, we see a very confident team, with a lot of knowledge and experience that can be used playing even against the strongest teams. And we believe that Sweden should complete the qualification in 2nd place.

FIFA Rating – 50

While Sweden fought to be among best European teams and qualified to League A, Norway also achieved to be in League B and qualified from League C finishing at the first place. We can call really successful year for Norway, as they showed very strong character playing even against strongest teams like Spain in 1st Round of Euro2020 qualification. Even losing almost all chances and not controlling the ball, they scored a goal in Valencia and almost took a draw in one of the most important games of the year. However, Ramos scored a penalty on 71st minute and snatched a win.

The last game was against Malta at Ullevål Stadion, in Oslo. Here Norway accurately woin this game without any surprises with a 2:0 result. Malta failed to shoot on goal, so they even doest had any chance to score a goal. Norway stood strong in defence and made collected 3 more points. Now, Norway have 2 points difference with second-place Sweden, so this game for both teams strengthening their position.
