Romania
FIFA Rating – 31
Romania showing very strong character and football during the Euro 2020 Qualification. At the moment they stay at 3rd place with only 1 point away from Sweden, which is in 2nd place. It’s a great opportunity to go up in the table, as Sweden will face Spain also on Tuesday. In 7 games, Romania scored 16 and conceded 7 goals. They were seen in 6 out of 7 matches with over 2.5 goals. In general, hosts have a great chance to compete with Norway, as at home they play really confident, losing only to Spain with 1:2 result.
During the last match, Romania played the Faroe Islands in Tórsvøllur, at Torshavn. Guests struggled until the 74th minute, as they failed to score in a big amount of attacks. They created moments, controlled the possession and were very dangerous. However, Faroe Islands showed really strong defence and stood with clean sheet almost until the end of the game. But strong guests motivation and an emphasis on the attack gave a result as they scored 3 goals and took important points.
In general, Cosmin Contra has a great squad with top-class players from different leagues. We can note Vlad Chiricheș, Răzvan Marin and George Pușcaș as a strong leader in different positions, which plays on a very high level in Italy, Holland and England.

One of the biggest surprises of the Euro 2020 qualification should be Norway’s strong game and very interesting football. This team still trying to be among 2 strongest Group F teams, however, at the moment have 4 points difference with 2nd place Sweden. For both clubs on Wednesday, this game could be very decisive. Norway, already showed, that they are a very dangerous team even playing against such a strong national team as Spain.
During this national break, they met Spain at Ullevål Stadion, in Oslo. During the whole game, they showed very equal football and stood strong in absolutely all positions. In attack, they tried lots of interesting movement, but sometimes they had a lack of technique. However, in defence, they showed us a real team with a great game and prospectives. Norway played the very strong first half, however, at the beginning of second conceded a fast goal from Saul. It seemed hat hosts will lose this game, but at the additional time, Arrizabalaga made a mistake in defence and got a yellow card and a penalty. Joshua King very confident at this and netted the ball into the right corner levelling the score and taking 1 point against favourites of the group.
