Russia

FIFA Rating – 50

Russia was hosts of World Cup 2018 and played very successfully there as they eliminated Spain from the tournament. As a result, Russia took second place in the Group stage, by losing only to Uruguay. However, they met Spain in 1/8 finals and won by penalties, thanks to Akinfeev’s great play. After a successful championship, the team arrives in a good mood and is now looking at other matches and championships with perspective. Russians took second place in UEFA Nations League and saved their participation in League B, however, Sweden got a chance to check their strength in League A.

As part of the Russian national team, there are 2 players from the top leagues of Europe. A. Golovin from Monaco, French League 1 and D. Cheryshev from Valencia, Spanish LaLiga. These two should play leading roles in team game and prove that they deserve to play in such clubs and be in the national team of such a big country.

H2H

These teams played in last World Cup in Group stage, however, Belgium was stronger and won against all opponents including Russia. Moreover, they met in the 2017 year in Friendly match where the match was very tough and interesting, as a result, it finished by 3:3. Of course, Belgium had better players, but Russia were hosts and this match was similar to training game for both.
