Argentina
FIFA Rating – 10
Argentina in the last few years has been playing without using their full potential. The team includes incredibly super players from top clubs in Europe and around the world. Team In 2018, at the World CUP in Russia, they lost to France in the 1/8 finals. Of course, they were not lucky to get this opponent at this stage. But the French were rightfully stronger. Until the summer of this year, there was a very large serie of friendly matches in which Argentina also did unstable work losing to Venezuela and Brazil.
Biggest event in June of this year was Copa America, where Argentina showed a questionable game in group stage losing to Colombia and drawing the game against Paraguay. Even Messi came back to the squad after retiring from international football. However, they were lucky to qualify to playoffs where they lost against Brazil 0:2 playing very dangerously. Then, they won against Chile playing for 3rd place even with Messi’s red card at 37th minute. In general, it is strange that having such players the team does not play victory football at absolutely different championships. They need to work on tactics unambiguously and decide what to do next, as they have tremendous potential.
The last match against Chile at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, in Los Angeles, they drawn without scoring any goals. They were very aggressive and had much more chances to succeed, however, failed to score even 1 goal. Almost all main squad players were involved in this much.

Mexico had a successful las year even losing to Brazil at 1/8 stage of World CUP in Russia. After World Cup they had very bad serie of matches, losing 5 out of 6 friendly games. Now things changed, and they have already 11 wins in a row, including whole NORTH & CENTRAL AMERICA Gold Cup, where they become Champions. In the final, they won against USA scoring single late goal. In general, they dominated the whole championship and deservedly won. During this national break, Mexico played against USA at MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford. The Tricolor confidently won against USA national team with 3:0 result.
In fact, we cannot call the Mexican national team a very stellar team, since most of the players are from the Mexican League (Liga MX). However, they show a really strong and great football under Argentinian specialist Gerardo Daniel Martino, who joined Mexico in January.
