Bayern Munich will face Eintracht Frankfurt at Weserstadion, in Bremen, at German Bundesliga 34th Round. Bayern Munich against Eintracht Frankfurt is the match with big interest after their previous matches at German Bundesliga. This match can be decisive in the fight for the champion title in the Bundesliga, or a great chance to be among top 4 teams in German. Review our thoughts on this match here below.

Bayern Munich

Very likely that Bayern Munich will finish this season as a Bundesliga Champions. Now they stand at 1st place and have 2 points more than the nearest chaser Borussia Dortmund. There is only 1 match left in Bundesliga regular season and Bayern will face talented squad Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. The Bavarians made a great comeback, as they had 10 points deficit with the 1st place. They finally overtook the leading position after smashing 5:0 win against the BVB. Even taking the Trophy of Bundesliga and DFB Pokal, the season was far away from the best, as they failed in Champions League in the early stage of 1/8 Finals losing at Allianz Arena against Liverpool. In general, after losing in CL, they are unbeaten in 10 matches in a row winning 7 of them.

Robert Lewandowski finishing this season as the best goalscorer of the squad and Bundesliga as well with 22 goals. Second best team scorer is young German Serge Gnabry with 10 goals and 5 assists. Of course, as every season Bayern is looking for someone to sign and play stronger and better in Champions League next year. One of the targets to change Ribery and Robben is Leroy Sane, who joined Manchester City in 2016/17 season from Schalke.

Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt after very great winning streaks and beautiful football started to play very weak football. They now struggling to win in 7 games in a row in different competitions. A week ago they were knocked out from Europa League as Chelsea win by penalties and entered to the Final of the Tournament. In Germany, they took only 2 points from the last 5 games and almost lost all chances to be among 4 best teams which will play in Champions League next year. This is the last Round and they will finish the season playing against strongest ever team in Germany – Bayern Munich. In the last games, Eintracht doesn’t look like themselves, fatigue may have affected at the end of the season, as they played at a very high-level and tempo almost whole season.

Unfortunately, most likely they will not be able to resist against next opponents since Bavarians form in recent games becoming only better. Young Serbian Luka Jovic becomes season’s surprise for the whole of Europe. He scored 17 goals and made 5 assists in Germany, and looks like lots of clubs targetting him in the upcoming transfer window. Second best teams goalscorer Sebastian Haller scored 14 goals and made 9 assists and also look brilliant this year. In general, Eintracht has a great perspective for next season if they will save the main squad players.

Unfortunately, Taleb Tawatha, Nils Stendera, and Sebastian Rode will miss next match due to injuries.

H2H

The Bavarians won 4 of their last 5 meetings with Eintracht Frankfurt. This season they already met twice both times at Commerzbank-Arena.
