Paris SG vs Toulouse should be a very interesting game during the 3rd round of French Ligue 1, at Parc des Princes, in Paris. The first games of Ligue 1 showed that this year we can see not the most predicted alignment in the standings. During the first games PSG struggling to show their best form. Maybe that is connected with a questionable situation about Neymar, or bad morale or physical conditions after the summer off-season. At the moment, the Toulouse team is higher in the table than Paris SG.

During the last 3 matches between these teams, we can argue that the Toulouse team is not the easiest rival for the French giants. Last 3 matches finished with the same 1:0 result for PSG, however, this is far away from their best results against such opponents. In all three games, the Violets stood strong in the defence, and even losing the ball possession, they don’t let PSG score as much as they want. For both teams, this match should be very tough, especially at the beginning of the season, so we suggest to read our thoughts about the Paris SG vs Toulouse game here below.

Paris SG

Toulouse

Toulouse last season took the 16th position. This is very near to be relegated to Ligue 2, since their game is really weak for the highest French league. Last year they lost 10 games out of 19. We can call them a low-budget squad of Ligue 1, as PSG budget, for example, is 10 times bigger. The Violets doesn’t have any big stars in the squad and their strength is team play and a desire to continue to be in the top league of France.

Toulouse have drawn the match against Brest at Stade Francis-Le Blé, in Brest. They were very lucky as opponents missed the penalty at 84th minute, then the guests evened the score and pulled out 1 very important point. The second game at Stadium Municipal in Toulouse were even more successful as they won with minimal 1:0 result, however, took 3 points and at the beginning of the season, they stand at 7th place, higher than PSG. There was a very smooth game with the Gijon team and most likely the winning goal was influenced by support the home field.

21 years old Agustin Rogel will miss the next match due to collarbone fracture injury and expecting to return only in November.
