In UEFA Europa League qualification final Ferencvaros vs Suduva will play the second leg at Groupama Arena, in Budapest. Last year winners of OTP Bank Liga (highest Hungarian league) Ferencvaros will face Lithuanian Lyga A vice-champions Suduva at the most important game of the season. Both teams played in Champions League qualification at the beginning, however, Suduva lost to FK Crvena Zvezda at 1/8 final. From the other side, Ferencvaros was one step away from Champions League qualification final, however, lost to Dinamo Zagreb in Semi-final.

These teams now play at absolutely different class, as Ferencvaros is a much stronger and skilful team. However, the first match between them finished with a 0:0 draw. For Suduva that was the sensational result, as no one expected that they would be able to protect their goals, even playing on their own field. Of course, 0:0 is a very weak result for the club from Lithuania, however, they still have a chance to succeed and reach the highest achievement of club history. Ferencvaros

Ferencvaros totally controlled the first game against Suduva. They had more chances to score and take the advantage to their side in a very important away match. That was a great chance to be one step closer winning the qualification final and reaching the group stage of Europa League. But Sudova’s team was stronger in defence and even many efforts of the Hungarians did not help break through the goal of the hosts. As we said, Ferencvaros is a very strong team and plays at a higher level than their rivals, so at home, they will play as well as possible. On the one hand, the Lithuanians have almost no chance, but if they hold the defence, there is always a chance to score on a counter-attack.

Away Ferencvaros had 61% of possession. During the whole match, guests had twice as many attacks as their rivals. Hungarians had 9 corners and 19 goal attempts.

Suduva

Suduva proved that it is too early to write them off since 0:0 is always a chance to score on a foreign field and take advantage in their hands. The Lithuanian team created very few dangerous moments, but on counter-attacks, it sometimes looked very dangerous. In the first half, the game was still quite smooth, but in the second half, the rivals did everything to score. The main weapon of Suduva is a confident defence and quick transitions from defence to attack. Unfortunately, the Lithuanian team does not have very fast players who can outrun or dribble. The entire work on the road, for guests, is a confident team play, a strong game in defence, set-piece and counter-attacks.

According to all the statistics, Sudova was weaker than the rivals in their own field. They often fouled, spent time on the defensive and could not normally impose their own game, since the Hungarians played stronger in all positions.
