Read our thoughts about this Europa League Eintracht Frankfurt vs Arsenal game, here below.

Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt playing very questionable football, as they won twice at home ground, and lost 2 games away. Now Eintracht has 6 points after 4 Rounds in Bundesliga.

They started the season already at the end of July, playing against Estonian Flora and won both games with the same 2:1 results. In Semi-final of Europa League qualification, they faced Liechtenstein Vaduz, which was a much easier opponent, as they won against them with 6:0 aggregate result. In the qualification final, they played against underdog Strasbourg, who won at home with 1:0 result. And having a very big advantage came to Frankfurt, with big plans for the match. The game was full of emotions, red cards were shown to both teams. But even playing for a while in the minority, Eintracht did not concede, and after the opponents red card, Eagles completely deprived any chance of further struggle, having won the match with a result of 3:0.

Last season, they reached Semi-final, where in a bitter struggle, they lost to Chelsea, who later became champions of this tournament. Of course, their team has changed a lot over the summer, especially the attacking line, since they sold Luka Jovic to Real Madrid for 60m € and Sebastian Haller to West Ham for 40m €.

Unfortunately, Marco Russ, Jonathan de Guzman and Mijat Gacinovic will miss the game due to injuries. Several interesting players not registered for Europa League competition, like Jonathan de Guzman, Nicolai Muller, Felix Wiedwald, Lucas Torro and Marijan Cavar.

Arsenal

Since 2010/11 season Arsenal reached last 16 round 7 years in a row in UEFA Champions League. In England, they playing far away from the ideal way. Last years, they play in the UEFA Europa League more often. In the 2017/18 season, they played in Semi-final against Atletico Madrid but failed to pass them. However, last year, they reached the Final and lost it with a crushing 1:4 result against their constant rivals London Chelsea.

The Gunners started perfectly Premier League winning against Newcastle and then Burnley. However, they lost 7 points in last 3 games against Liverpool, Tottenham and Watford. Of course, these opponents are very strong and skillful, but if they want to be as high as it is possible this year, they need at least save winning results. In the last match, they led with 2 goals difference, however, in the second half conceded twice and Watford took a very important draw, while Arsenal, dropped in PL table.

They play very unstable football, however, their attack look really impressive. Mostly, they need to strengthen their defence and middle. As all troubles coming through thes areas.

Unfortunately, Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney and Konstantinos Mavropanos will miss next game due to injuries.
