Basel vs Getafe

These teams play in different class domestic Leagues. Basel as always stands at the highest places of the table and trying to take the Title after 2 season break. For Getafe is much more difficult to take the leading places in La Liga. However, as we can see, they are playing very strong football and already stands at 7th place. Last year they finished at 5th place, which was a really strong achievement for such a small club compared to Spanish Giants. This season, Getafe losing only against top squads like Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla or at least Basel, which was a strong favourite of the group and confirms that with results.

For both teams, the next match will be very important as they are absolutely worth to play in Playoffs. It would be not fair if Krasnodar, which lost against both opponents will qualify to the next round. They now collected only 3 points, but if they will win and Basel will take victory in next meeting, Getafe’s chances will be under question. Both teams are very universal and can play as defensive as attacking the football. Both have very strong and experienced players, so here we see a very interesting confrontation.

Injuries

Basel will play without Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Ramires and Zdravko Kuzmanovic due to injuries. In Getafe, the list of possible missing is much bigger. Marker Bergara, Xabi Etxeita and Amath Ndiaye will miss the next game due to the registration status for this competition. They were out of the team players list, which is able to play in UEFA Europa League.
