Stil continuing winning streak in Premier League Liverpool will face Manchester United, which won only 2 games out of the last 8 so far. Will Liverpool overtake Red Devils and continue their path to PL title, or Manchester will be the team that stopped winning streak? Read our thoughts about this incredible Premier League Manchester United vs Liverpool battle, here below.

In the last 5 meetings in official games, both teams have the same amount of wins and 3 draws. Even playing at the highest class Liverpool struggling against Manchester United, which is having hard times. United are unbeaten at Old Trafford since the 2014 playing in PL against Liverpool. So for guests that should be a great achievement after such a long time.

Manchester United

Manchester United looks having lots of troubles in their game. In 8 last Premier League games, they won only twice. Both wins were against strong clubs Chelsea and Leicester meeting them on Stamford Bridge. And in general, playing at home they much better than away. During the last 6 games at home, this season in different competitions Red Devils won 4 games, drew match against Arsenal and lost to Crystal Palace. At the moment, the team stands at 12th position in the highest English League and 2nd in UEFA Europa League after winning over Astana but losing points against AZ Alkmaar. Against Hollands Manchester United even failed to shoot on target, so this result is not surprising for everybody.

Daniel James and Marcus Rashford leading the team by scored goals and look very dangerous. Marcus also showed great abilities playing for the National team and even scored a goal. Lots of players can’t find their best form, but we believe that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs some time to find a way to play better. Rebuilding the squad is also a process that needs time to make progress.

Unfortunately, Eric Bailly still injured, however, club expecting his return in December. Moreover, Antony Martial, Paul Pogba, David de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lingard and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are also injured and will probably miss the next game.

Liverpool

In the Premier League, Liverpool shows unstoppable results and strongest character. They faced already Chelsea, Arsenal, and Leicester. In all games, they conceded at least 1 goal, however, scored more and won the games even against strong PL teams. It seems that they are trying to make everything not repeating the last year’s mistake. At the moment, in Premier League they stand at 1st place with maximum possible points. They already scored 20 and conceded only 6 goals showing the second-best attack and strongest defence. SUper trio Mane Salah and Firmino as always showing great team-play results.

In UEFA Champions League they surprisingly lost against Napoli at Stadio San Paolo by conceding two late goals. Moreover, they face big troubles in defense meeting with Salzburg which shows really great results so far. This game finished with 4:3 result, but most interesting that Liverpool led by 3:0. Salzburg now stands at 2nd, while Reds at 3rd with worse goal difference.

Liverpool will play the next game without Nathaniel Clyne for sure. Very likely that Mohamed Salah and Xhedran Shaqiri will miss the next game also.
