FaZe vs GODSENT should be a second-most important e-Sports match on this Monday. DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 tournament. The second series of group C matchups as FaZe will face off against an in-form GODSENT. To have more insights on this CS:GO FaZe vs GODSENT match, please check out the preview below.

FaZe is currently ranked 7th in the world. FaZe have put together a solid roster which required huge investigations. In order to be successful, this project must win something and the previous form shows that they might be able to. The thing with FaZe is, they always feel comfortable playing against lower-ranked teams and rarely loses to them, but also rarely loses against higher-ranked teams. In order to win in big tournament you have to be able to defeat some of the best teams and FaZe haven’t managed to do it in most of them. FaZe team is incredibly good at Mirage, where they fix 83,3% win rate this season. Secondary picks for them are Nuke and Inferno, while Overpass is their weakest map with only 37,5% win rate.

GODSENT are currently ranked 18th overall. GODSENT have surprised everyone two weeks ago by defeating one of the best teams in the world, mousesports in 2-0 fashion. GODSENT have been consistent against lower-ranked opponents but similarly to FaZe, have struggled to defeat higher-ranked opponents other than mousesports. GODSENT have been struggling on FaZe’s best map, Inferno. GODSENT have only won 9% of games played on Inferno. Other than that, GODSENT are playing well on Train, 75% win rate and Nuke, 69% win rate. The one thing is clear, GODSENT must ban Inferno against FaZe in order to have chances on other maps. GODSENT doesn’t have a good h2h history against FaZe, but they will have a chance to prove themselves once again on the higher stage on Monday.

Both of these teams have been performing pretty well recently and the match should be an interesting one to watch. Either way, FaZe have shown that they usually have no problem against lower-ranked opponents. Expect the favourites of the match to win it comfortably, 2-0.
