Cloud9

Cloud9 (17-1) have played an incredible regular season by only losing once. The one unlucky game against TSM where Cloud9 blew up the lead cost them the 18-0 regular split. Anyway, this is one of It see the best showings in LCS history and the result that none of the analysts expected before the season started. With the additions of Zven (Adc) and Vulcan (Support) together with starting Blaber (jungle) as the main jungler, this team started the season on a high note and finished it on an even higher one. The main strenght of this team is the coordination and incredible team-play, something that most of the other North American teams lack is the strenght of this roster. C9 is the clear favourites for this quarter-final, but we’ll still have to see him proving their worth on the higher stage.

100 Thieves

100 Thieves (10-8) have played a pretty good regular season and surprisingly got into the playoffs. A squad full of veterans weren’t expected to make the playoffs in early considerations but managed to prove everyone wrong. It seems like 10.5 patch was the on which this team started to feel comfortable and improved their game. All of the team members stepped up individually and with good coaching, this team started to play a lot more coordinated and smarter overall. It’s hard to expect 100 Thieves to win against Cloud 9 as they’re nowhere close to C9’s level, but 100 Thieves can still give us a good match and may even win one game.
