Utah Jazz
Utah Jazz won the regular season and proved that they are not the team to mess with. Mitchell and Conley have played very well together this season and are the drive for this team. Bogdanovič and Ingles have stepped up their game as well and all of this led to Jazz being one of the favourites to win the western conference. Jazz do not have the strongest lineup on paper, but they are well-coached and can definitely be the black horse in this year’s playoffs.
Memphis Grizzlies
Memphis Grizzlies once again had to compete in NBA Play-in games in order to reach the playoff spot. Well, they did it and also came out to the first game of this series hot. Grizzlies managed to win the first game on the road and even scored 129 points in the second, but it wasn’t enough to take a 2-0 series lead. Anyway, the Grizzlies should be happy with a single victory on the road as now they have the home-court advantage and if they keep playing the same way they did, we might see 3-1 series lead. Grizzlies are young guns and most of their players do not have playoffs experience and are under 25 years old. Either way, this series is a huge development for this young roster even if they won’t win the series.
