This is a match of NBA between Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors, at Toyota Centre, the home of Houston. We think it is an exciting match, so please review our thoughts here below.

Houston Rockets

Currently, Rockets are in the 5th seed of the Western Conference standings (41-25). They are on fire lately as Rockets are on 8 game winning streak and look forward to keeping the home court advantage. An interesting fact is that this streak started by beating Golden State and now Oakland is the biggest threat to snap it. Probably the main reason of Houston's streak is their defense. Over the last 8 games, they allow only 105.4points per game which is a very good result for them, because they have been criticized about their D.
Talking about the offensive end Rockets trademark is shooting many threes. They are among leaders in 3 pointers made and attempted. At home Houston is playing really good basketball as in home games, Houston’s record is 23-9. Rockets leaders: James Harden (36.6ppg, 7.7apg, 6.7rpg), Clint Capela (17.6ppg, 12.6rpg), Eric Gordon (16.1ppg), Chris Paul (15.6ppg, 8.0apg).

Golden State Warriors

Currently, Golden State is in the 1st position of the Western Conference standings (45-21) and they are looking to stay at the top. They are coming off a shocking loss against the Suns and will be very determined to try to win this game. Over their last 10 games, they have only won 4 and this is a big slump as for Golden State. As well as Rockets, this is a team that shoots a whole lot of threes. Their playstyle is based on that three-point shot and we can say that GSW lives behind the arc. And Oakland is making them by a good percentage (48.8FG%, leading the league).

Recently, they signed a center Andrew Bogut. As he already is familiar with Golden State's roster and playbook, it looks like he will be a nice fit for the team and should give some more power on the defensive end of the floor. Stephen Curry (28.6ppg, 5.2apg, 5.1rpg), Kevin Durant (27.6ppg, 7.0rpg, 5.9apg), Klay Thompson (21.9ppg, 40% 3FG).

H2H

This game has more importance for Houston as they are looking to stay in a high position. GSW can feel quite safe for now. But Warriors, will not give let this game away. After all, Houston is leading season series and are 3-0, so it is a very possible sweep for Golden boys. Last game Rockets were without Chris Paul and still managed to win by the result 112-118. The leaders for the Rockets were: Eric Gordon (25pts, 4ast), Chris Paul (21pts, 17ast), Kenneth Faried (20pts, 10rebs). Golden State's best players were: Kevin Durant (29pts, 3ast, 4rebs), Stephen Curry (25pts, 7ast, 9rebs), Klay Thompson (20pts, 6ast, 4 rebs).
