This is game 6 of the NBA Finals matchup between Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors, in Oracle Arena, the home of the Warriors. Warriors are mounting a comeback and the Raptors try to take one last win, these NBA Finals are very interesting, so please review our thoughts here below.

Golden State Warriors

Golden State is coming off a big win in game 5 in Toronto. Kevin Durant came back to this game and played an important role in this game. Although he played only 11mins, he was very efficient to the Warriors, but unfortunately — he suffered a devastating injury (I will talk about it later in this article).

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were the best players last night. They were the catalizators of offense and made 3 clutch three-pointers at the end of the game. The quality of the splash-brothers game is the main component for Golden State to win games.

Let’s talk about a huge problem for the Warriors — injuries. Kevin Durant has just suffered a torn ACL and is out for a long time. Another important player for the Warriors is Kevon Looney. Looney is a great offensive rebounder. And if we know and see how efficient KD is for the Warriors, we cannot underrate Kevon’s work on defense.

Best players for GSW last game: Stephen Curry (31pts, 8rebs, 7ass), Klay Thompson (26pts, 6rebs, 4ass), Draymond Green (10pts, 10rebs, 8ass).

Toronto Raptors

Toronto is coming off a tough loss. They have been one shot away from winning an NBA championship, but now — they have got to think about how to prepare for game 6 and start the journey to the title once again. This time they will play in California, in a tough arena and it will be very interesting to see, how they will handle it.

Kawhi Leonard was on another level in late-game situations. He scored 10 points in a row in the 4th quarter and it already looked like it is all over. But then, a little bit of laziness on the defensive end, few mistakes on the offense and following that Toronto lost concentration and lost.

In this game, I expect to see them really prepared. Kevin Durant is out 100% and Raptors are sure that they won’t need to worry about him. Kyle Lowry is using slow Warriors’ bigs very well. Those mismatches create open looks for himself or his teammates. Raptors have got to use their strengths if they want to get this championship.

Best Raptors players last game: Kawhi Leonard (26pts, 12reb, 6ass), Kyle Lowry (18pts, 6ass, 4rebs), Marc Gasol (17pts, 8rebs)
