This is a matchup between Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. Denver Nuggets against Brooklyn Nets is the match with big interest after their previous match at NBA. Review our thoughts on this match here below.

Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn is playing their best season after this terrible Nets-Celtics trade happened. Despite, many injuries that this team suffered Nets is ranked in the 6th seed of eastern conference (28-27) and are looking to stay in that playoff spot. This team is playing unselfish basketball as 10 of their players are averaging more than 9 points a game. There are some players that stand out in this team with their scoring: D’Angelo Russell (19.6ppg, 6.4apg), Joe Harris (13.7ppg), Jarret Allen (11.1ppg, 8.7rpg, 1.5bpg) and DeMarre Carrol (11ppg, 5rpg) (I did not include Caris LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie because these players are injured and won’t play in this game). Nets are on a 3 game losing streak, but they lost against pretty strong teams like Bucks and Spurs, so it is no big deal for them. Nets are doing well in home games (16-12).

Denver Nuggets

Denver Nuggets is playing their dream season standing in the 2nd seed of this very strong Western conference standings (37-16). Denver’s young core is starting to produce some great, defensive basketball. Nuggets leaders are Nikola Jokic (20.1ppg, 10.4rpg, 7.7apg) Jammal Murray (18.5ppg, 4.9apg) and Gary Harris (14.8ppg). Denver is coming up after a huge loss to  Pistons. One of Nuggets leaders, Paul Millsap, won’t play due to injury. As we saw in Denver’s last game, this is a big disadvantage for them. In road games, Denver is not looking so good (14-12).

H2H

Last game ended by a close victory of Brooklyn Nets 112-110. Leaders of Brooklyn were: D’Angelo Russell (23pts, 5ass) and Jarret Allen (18pts, 9rebs). Nuggets leading scorers: Nikola Jokic (37pts, 21rebs) and Jammal Murray (16pts, 5ass). This is going to be a very interesting matchup of two ambitious teams. Both teams have a lot of injured players. Paul Millsap, of Denver Nuggets, is probably the biggest loss for Denver. Nuggets should still have a wound after their previous matchup against Brooklyn and will try to take this game at all cost.  On the other hand, Nets is looking to snap their losing streak and this is a nice opportunity, playing at home, against injured and a little bit devastated Nuggets team.
