Zalgiris

Zalgiris Kaunas have won 4 out of last 6 matches and is currently ranked at 13th spot. After a disappointing start of the season, Zalgiris managed to improve their shooting percentages and all-around game have improved as well. This led to such great results in previous rounds, including a victory against one of the strongest home teams in the tournament, Asvel. It was a very tough, physical match, which required a lot of mental strength as well. Lukas Lekavicius came up clutch in 4th quarter after making the 3-pointer with 30 seconds left in order to get Zalgiris in front by 2 points. Even though Zalgiris haven’t played as well at home, as were expected, they managed to win last 2 matches at home and will seek to keep the streak going tomorrow.

Olympiacos

Olympiacos collected a strong roster for this season, but somehow players didn’t get a long with each other and that led to some changes in recent weeks. After the addition of coach Bartzokas, Olympiacos managed to win 2 matches in a row and will seek to extend the streak tomorrow. Anyway, both of these matches were won by playing at home and Olympiacos hasn’t played well on the road throughout the season. Olympiacos only won 3 out of 11 matches played on the road and it’s one of the worst records in the league. One of the most important players, G. Printezis won’t be available for tomorrow’s match and it only makes things harder for the visiting team.
