Valencia

Last season Valencia have dominated Eurocup losing only one match in the whole season. Valencia always has shown very beautifully to watch basketball, the team can adapt to the opponent, play fast and slow. Also, they always have played well in defence. Another advantage is that all-important players haven‘t gone anywhere. Dubljevic, San Emeterio, Van Rossom, Vives. These players carry Valencia in every match, they know well each other, and that is why Valencia never can be underestimated. However this time they are playing in the major league, every opponent is much stronger, so Spaniards must concentrate and focus themselves if they want to advance further.

CSKA Moscow

Last year CSKA have won Euroleague and VTB League. Before last season CSKA were not among the favourites to win Euroleague, but they have shown a great performance and mentality when it was much needed. Team has kept all the leaders from last season including coach Itoudis who will be desperate to repeat last year‘s success. However, the season started in different and unexpected ways as they lost the first match against Enisey. So surely players and coach will do everything not to repeat that mistake by underestimating an opponent. Because this time they are playing away game against a really dangerous team, not to mention Eurocup winners, so it will be all in Russians hands, if they focus and perform as they can, there should not be any problems.
