Maccabi Tel Aviv
Maccabi managed to win 12 out of 18 matches played and are one of the most interesting teams to watch as they play up-tempo and high scoring basketball. Scotty Wilbekin and Tarik Black should be ready to play after recovering from some injuries, so all of the fans expect them to win this match. It’s definitely reasonable because Maccabi has not lost a single match at their home arena this year as they won all 8 matches played. Maccabi’s coach I. Sfairopoulos was named the best coach of the tournament at recent news and the team is on the roll overall.
Olimpia Milano
One of the richest teams of the competition, but it just doesn’t look like Olimpia has the winning culture so far. After a strong start of the season, Olimpia started to slump. Even though they’re currently ranked in 6th place, their performances were not as strong recently as other teams and it’s really questionable if they will manage to stay in the playoffs picture without improving their game a lot. The main problem with Olimpia Milan is that they’re a strong home team (8 victories of 10 matches), but very weak at away games (2 wins 6 losses). In order to keep racing for the playoffs spot you have to be able to win more away games, but this just doesn’t seem to happen for Olimpia Milan team. We’ll have to see if they can prove us wrong.
