Please read our preview about this exciting Euroleague Khimki Moscow vs Panathinaikos game, here below.

Khimki Moscow

In the previous round, Khimki managed to defeat Bayern in an away game and keep improving their game. Coach Kurtinaitis has done a good job with transfers and now making Khimki look better and better as their only loss was against CSKA including all tournaments. And now they face Panathinaikos, clearly, Khimki is a stronger team this season, but this should be a tough game for them because Greeks like to play more on defence and might provoke Russians to make turnovers and shoot from difficult situations.

Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos is still trying to come back to the top Europe teams, however, so far things are moving too slow. Greeks already suffered two unexpected losses against Olimpia and Lyon, both times they were controlling the match and allowed it to slip away. And now they face an even stronger opponent which likes to play very fast basketball. If Khimki will get a chance and score from three-point range, Panathinaikos stands no chance, because a player like Shved can make and 6-8 three-pointers in one evening. So Panathinaikos will have to improve on their defence if they want to try to win this game, however, it will be very difficult, considering the results both teams are showing.l

Khimki Moscow vs Panathinaikos H2H

Both teams faced each other 11 times in the past 10 years and 6 times it was Panathinaikos who sealed a win, also only two times the victor was a visitor. So this also gives a big advantage for Russians.
