CSKA
CSKA Moscow (17-8) have not been as consistent as we’re used to seeing them throughout the years, but still, they’re considered as one of the best teams of the competition. With the addition of Mike James CSKA got a great clutch player to replace N. De Colo and it’s paying off. Even though James were criticised a lot in the previous season, he’s still getting it done in 4th quarters and often carrying the team by himself this season. Anyway, other CSKA players often aren’t as reliable and struggle with shooting percentages. Despite that, CSKA is one of the strongest teams playing at home and only lost 3 matches in Moscow. Tomorrow’s match is definitely a very important one as Barcelona is the team to beat in order to secure a better spot heading into playoffs.
Barcelona
Barcelona (19-6) collected probably the strongest roster in pre-season and spent a lot of money for this year’s success. Even though there’ve been some struggles and bad runs this season, Barcelona is currently on a 6 win streak in Euroleague, including victories against Panathinaikos, Fenerbahce Ulker and Valencia in away games. Offensive potential of this team is limitless and any player can score in bunches in any given game and that’s what makes this team dangerous. Anyway, Barcelona’s defence isn’t near as good as the offence and in order to win against CSKA on the road, this might become a problem.
CSKA vs Barcelona H2H
CSKA have won 4 out of last 5 matches played against each other, including one earlier this season on the road, 96-67.
