The card’s headliner will feature KevinLee (18-5) taking on a UFC surging lightweight contender, Charles Oliveira (28-8). Lee is looking to build on his vicious, knockout win over Gregor Gillespie in November, which snapped a two-fight losing streak. Oliveira, on the other hand, hasn’t taken an ‘L’ in a while. “Do Bronx” has won six straight fights and is coming off a KO of Jared Gordon in November. Kevin Lee

Lee (18-5) was last seen in what may go down as the greatest highlight reel head kick knockout in promotion history, starching Gregor Gillespie at UFC 244 last November in New York. The victory for “Motown Phenom” validated his move to Tristar gym and snapped a two-fight losing streak. And now Kevin is coming back, his opponent is once again a tough one, so this should not be a quick fight. Nevertheless, Lee is still a favourite here to win.

Charles Oliveira

As for Oliveira (28-8, 1 NC), he can seemingly do no wrong these days, winning six straight fights with six nasty finishes along the way. The knuckleheads charged with the division rankings, however, have no love for “Do Bronx,” leaving him high and dry at number 13- a whopping five spots behind Lee. In his most recent fight at UFC, Oliveira knocked out Jared Gordon in just 87 seconds, one of the fastest knockouts in his career. Also, he has won back to back fights by KO or TKO-the first two of his professional career. So he must be motivated for this fight as well.
