The Serbians started this season in Eurocup incredibly well 5 wins out of 5. Nevertheless, then followed two surprising loses and Partizan now are in the second place. Now, everything no longer is in their hands and if Serbians want to finish in the first place they must not only win but also hope that Venezia loses. The previous meeting with Rytas ended with an important Partizan win 61:66. And also Serbians must not forget last season when they knocked out of Eurocup by Rytas with a last-second game-winner. So, now Partizan has even more motivation to win then they did in the first meeting.
Rytas
Rytas were on the edge of being knocked out of Eurocuoe, but managed to win against Lokomotiv in an away game and in previous round defeated Limoges and at least for they are in the 4th place. However, Lithuanians still have a long road to go, because even with 4 wins, they might not advance further. And they have only one home game left against Tofas. So the situation is still difficult, nevertheless, if Rytas could beat Partizan and win against Tofas, they would definitely qualify. So, it will be interesting to see, what conclusions Rytas has made after their previous meeting. Because this is the best time to try to win against Partizan in their own arena.
