In the previous round they managed to lose against Alba in their own arena, so it a big surprise. Also, Panathinaikos were kicked out of the Greek Cup by Promitheas. The team had a few very difficult weeks, but now they have a chance to come back, because Zalgiris is also struggling, and a win against such an opponent would bring back confidence.
