The first round of an ATP Grand Slam in Wimbledon. A very interesting match is waiting for us tomorrow as two players who shine very bright this season will face off against each other. To have more insights on this ATP Benoit Paire vs Juan Ignacio Londero match please check out the preview below.

Benoit Paire

Paire did not have good previous seasons as his win rate for past 3 seasons were around 50%. Well, he had an incredible performance on clay this season and managed to win 21 out of 28 matches and this is an incredible result given how tough the opposition was. He is currently sitting on 32nd rank and is slowly climbing back to his career-best 18th spot by showing off like that. Anyway, clay is his best ground for sure but that doesn’t mean that he is such a great player on grass as well. Paire holds a negative win rate on the grass and tends to struggle on this ground but again, he is having a great season and there would be no surprise if he’d improved on grass as well.

Juan Ignacio Londero

Londero may not be that well known as his opponent but he’s improved a lot this season as well. He is 25 years of age and currently being ranked as 62nd. He’s very similar compared to Paire as both of them loves clay grounds and usually struggles on the others. Londero has shined on clay this season but while being 25 years old it will be only his 2nd season playing on grass. He has played 6 matches on this ground overall and won only 2 of them. As mentioned previously, he has improved a lot overall as a player and he showed that in his debut on the grass at Eastbourne as well as he played some great tennis on this ground. This guy can not be underestimated and might exactly show us why at tomorrow’s match.
