Quarter-finals of ATP 250 tournament at Antalya, Turkey. There we have an interesting match waiting for us as two good players who are playing at a similar level will face off against each other. To have more insights on this ATP Jordan Thompson vs Damir Dzumhur match please check out the preview below.

Jordan Thompson

Jordan is currently 45th ranked in the world and has recently turned 25 years old. Australian used not to play well on grass as he never been considered more than an average player on this ground but he definitely has stepped up his game this year. Thompson has won 5 of 6 matches he played and he even reached the grand final in Hertogenbosch where he fell short against Adrian Mannarino. He defeated Klahn in straight sets at the opening match here at Antalya and is looking strong on grass so far. It was the matter of time after seeing him improving on other grounds when will he have his break out the season on grass as well and seems like it finally came. Expect good things from this guy if he keeps showing us the form he used to so far.

Damir Dzumhur

63rd ranked 27 years old Bosnian hasn’t played a lot this season so far. He had some minor injuries which led to falling short in early stages in most of the tournaments he played at. Despite being inconsistent and probably lacking some good experience on the bigger stages this season, Dzumhur is still a good player and he’s proven from time to time that he can compete with the best ones. He looked good in both of his matches at Antalya as he’s defeated Ebden in straight sets and Celibilek by 2 sets to 1. He won’t be a favorite for tomorrows match but this guy can definitely surprise everyone if he’s fully prepared for the match.
