Quarter-finals of ATP250 in Geneva are here and an interesting game is waiting for us tomorrow as Federico Delbonis (currently ranked 84) will face Albert Ramos (currently ranked 91). ATP rankings can be misleading sometimes as they don’t show the real abilities of some players at specific courts. Both Federico Delbonis and Albert Ramos-Vinolas are mainly clay players and definitely shine there the most. Delbonis reached this quarter-final by defeating Dimitrov and Fucsovics while Ramos won against Mannarino and defeated Sousa convincingly today in straight sets (6-0 6-3). Both players have a pretty similar style and they are also both left-handed. To have more insights on this Federico Delbonis vs Albert Ramos-Vinolas match please check out the preview below.

Federico Delbonis

Delbonis is 28 years old left-handed Argentinian mostly known for his performances on clay as his playstyle fits this ground very well. He is not rushing anything, calmly playing every point while looking for opportunities to turn defense into offense. He is currently sitting on a 66% win rate (6 wins 3 loses) this season and is definitely looking well prepared for this clay season. Expect him to keep playing that way tomorrow as well.

Alberto Ramos

Ramos is very similar to Delbonis as he is only 2 years older and also left-handed. Practically playing the same style as Delbonis as he is also looking at defense first. He loves long rallies until the opportunity to attack appears. Ramos looked great at the start of the season. However, lack of stamina and physical preparation leads to second-third round exits in most tournaments this year. He played well in Barcelona and Rome as he won 4 matches in both of these tournaments. He reached only the 2nd round. Well, this match will be his 3rd in Geneva and we will see how does he look at quarter-finals of a tournament.
